Mehbooba asks for speedy implementation of decisions of public outreach programmes | KNO

JAMMU, JANUARY 09 (KNO) : Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today impressed upon the Jammu divisional administration Jammu to expedite the process of execution of decisions taken during the public outreach programmes in the province. The Chief Minister gave these directions when the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Mandeep K Bhandari briefed her about the pace of execution of decisions made by the Chief Minister during her public outreach programmes in the province. Mr. Bhandari informed the Chief Minister, district wise, about the level of implementation of the commitments made by her during her public grievances redressal programmes conducted at Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban recently. Earlier, the Divisional Commissioner took an appraisal of the pace of execution of the commitments of the Chief Minister with the Deputy Commissioners of Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar through video conference. The Deputy Commissioners of these districts apprised the Divisional Commissioner about the present status of various developmental works besides other commitments made by the Chief Minister during her public outreach programmes in these districts. Dr. Bhandari directed the Deputy Commissioners to work with utmost zeal and dedication and play a proactive role in the timely execution of development works in their respective districts. He reviewed the progress achieved by various districts in this regard till date.(KNO)
